Wedding Flower Design

£800.00

Join us for a two day workshop exploring the art, craft and business of designing beautiful, seasonal weddings with our signature relaxed, wild, contemporary style, using locally grown flowers and sustainable mechanics as standard.

Day 1 will be spent in the Walled Garden and Flower Barn covering the design process, pricing and how to select the perfect flowers for a wedding, factoring in seasonality and supply volumes of locally grown flowers. Our practical work will cover flowers for the bridal party, including artful, relaxed bridal bouquets, full of movement and texture, boutonnieres and wired wearables (flower crowns and corsages).

Day 2 will be spent at the beautiful local church neighbouring the Howbury Estate where we will explore tumbling large scale asymmetric urns and pedestals for inside the church and a statement, wild arch to surround the church doors.

All flowers will be cut from the Walled Garden, and we will forage foliage for the larger installations from across the Estate.

All materials, refreshments and lunch prepared using seasonal ingredients from the kitchen garden are included.

Please read our Terms and Conditions before booking.
