              The Season-Led Sustainable Florist Programme
Master the Four Seasons of Flor-Art-istry in Six Days
Immerse yourself in the seasonal beauty of nature and ignite your creativity to design flowers that reflect your personal style. The in-person Season Led Florist Programme is designed for both beginners and florists looking to develop their skills in a more sustainable way. Taught over 6 days, this hands-on course will take you through each of the four seasons, ensuring you build the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills to start your floristry career with a strong foundation.
- Innovative, Immersive Learning
The course offers a unique blend of knowledge with practical, hands-on experience. You will learn from our School based on a real working flower farm, surrounded by the flowers growing in the Walled Garden, gaining an intimate understanding of how each flower behaves at different times of the year. Learn to select, cut, and condition flowers according to the specific needs of a design, event, or season.
- Master Floral Design
You will explore design principles such as depth, asymmetry, negative space, colour theory, shape, and proportion to master the art of floristry at its most natural and untamed. We’ll guide you through how to create naturalistic season-led designs using sustainable mechanics and materials, allowing you to work confidently with the materials as they are presented to us each season.
- Build a Sustainable Business
You will receive membership of The Business of Floristry, our year-long business mentorship programme designed to help you build a truly sustainable floristry business—financially and emotionally as well as environmentally.
- Support and Community
Submit monthly ‘homework’ for review and feedback as you develop your skills between the seasonal workshops and join our WhatsApp community of like-minded florists who offer peer-to-peer learning, inspiration, and friendship.
How It Works
You can join the in-person programme at any time during the Spring, Summer, or Autumn seasons. The course is structured to provide both intensive, seasonal learning and continuous personal development:
- Season One (3-Day Intensive)
You will begin with a 3-day intensive during the first season, where we’ll cover the fundamentals of floral design, sustainable mechanics, and working with locally grown flowers from the farm. This is your foundational experience to kickstart your floristry journey.
- Seasonal Follow-ups (1 Day per Season)
In each of the subsequent seasons, you’ll return for a 1-day workshop, where we will refresh your skills, develop your knowledge, and connect you with the flowers of that season. These sessions ensure you stay connected to the changing landscape of floristry as the seasons evolve.
- Ongoing Mentorship and Business Development
Over the course of the year, you will receive monthly feedback on your practice, through monthly ‘homework’ as you develop and refine your skills. Additionally, you will automatically be enrolled in The Business of Floristry, our business mentorship programme that provides monthly business guidance to help you develop a truly sustainable floristry business—financially, emotionally and environmentally.
What it costs
The full programme costs £2,200, spread over 4 payments:
