HALF &
FULL DAY
WORKSHOPS
Learn floristry at the untamed edge.
Our half and full day workshops are designed for florists, growers and creative flower lovers who want to work more closely with the seasons and develop a deeper understanding of flowers, design and sustainable floristry.
Working with locally grown flowers is not simply a different supply chain. It is a different creative medium.
Through our workshops, you'll learn how to respond to the flowers as they are presented to you, developing the confidence to make your own design decisions and create work that feels rooted in a time, a place and a season.
Whether you're exploring hand-tied bouquets, wedding flowers, flowers for your home or sustainable mechanics, our approach is always guided by seasonality, creativity and a commitment to working in partnership with nature.
All workshops are led by Cissy Bullock, floral designer, flower grower and founder of the School of Sustainable Floristry, and take place within the unique setting of Howbury Hall's eighteenth-century Walled Garden and flower farm in Bedford.
